Strongest kage gai can beat

8th gate has an obvious weakness, once it's open, the opponent's logical move is to outlast Gai.
Minato and Tobirama will definitely outlast Gai, cos Minato could as well FTG to his bedroom and wait for the suicide guy to die.
even his rival, Kakashi could simply go waste time in Kamui world and win.

The only realistic way Gai could "probably" win against an FTG user, is if Gai was a villain.
if Gai is a villain trying to destroy konoha, then Minato cannot abandon/endanger his village. he has to stay and fight.

Disgree on all of them, ibelieve the third raikage is the only one he cant beat. Although hashirama> third raikage i believe the third raikages techniques are a perfect counter to 8 gates , want to debate about this? I wouldnt mind.

I think he would struggle more with hashi than the raikage his wood style is enormous and powerful
Whil the raikage is strong one night elephant is more than enough to kill him

After todays chapter I feel like 8 gates speed is to fast for ftg users. They can avoid the first charge but after they they will get smashed. He was so fast juubi jin madara couldn't even see him running circles around him. I don't think ftg would get a chance to attack.

Minato just made it clear in today's chapter that FTG > 8th Gate Speed you don't have to atack against 8th gate Gai just avoid and defend and he will die ......

I disagree, instantly teleporting in and out is way different than teleporting then attacking as shown when minatos senjutsu rasengan was intercepted by madaras staff. No fight ever goes with one just avoiding the other till they die, that's not a fight. If they both went at each other with the intent to kill then gai would overwhelm minatos with speeds faster than a juubi jin.

However he dies after so I would never use this in an actual argument. But in the 8th gate gai beats ftg users.

I agree with this that if a ftg user has no choice but to fight that guy would win but in kakashis case he wouldn't be able to go in the kamui world with guy attacking him

Im not talking about striking speed . Im talking about that Gai can rush countless times still he cannot catch up a FTG user.

Guy aint beating Minato, Muu, Tobirama (debatable), Hashi even with 8 gates! Minato proves in the current chapter that he can react to an 8 gate speed. Muu can go invisible. Hashi has the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique, Tobirama has FTG. I'm not sure though if Tobirama's reaction speed is enough for an 8 gates guy even if he has FTG. Madara was able to pierce him with those rods and I'm pretty sure that 8 gates is faster than that attack.

While Guy is stronger than everybody on the list, I think he loses to Minato and Hashirama because they can survive long enough for 8 gates to run out. I don't really think Muu can win even with invisibility because of Gai's huge AOE but I'm not too sure. Muu can only win if he stalls it out though, if he tries to fight and give away his location, he will get instantly killed.
