Who is smarter Naruto or Sasuke?

so who do you guys think is smarter and why?

I am leaning more towards sasuke,what do you think?

Well Naruto is better at making traps like plans but Sasuke is better when it comes down to how you should fight the opponent

They're about equal in combat smarts. Sasuke has a lead in intelligence though.​

They both are smart. But sasuke is somewhat better than him when it comes to 1 on 1 fights like deidara vs sasuke for example. Naruto is smarter in his own way.

i agree with you, they both are good tacticians but i think the planning and analyzing is what gives sasuke the edge

If you want to go by what Minato said then remember when he said that Naruto was doing a good job keeping up with Sasuke.

That being said, Sasuke is way smarter. He knows more about ninjutsu in general and his analytical abilities are far beyond Naruto's level.

Although Naruto has his smart areas as well. He's diverse in Senjutsu and natural chakra, more-so than Sasuke is (Naruto uses Senjutsu more effectively and he's been training it for longer than Sasuke has). He's also very good at coming up with diversionary tactics, because that's his style with the shadow clones and what not.

However overall, sasuke takes the intelligence stat.

you guys have to see the madara arc naruto in front of your eys not the dumb stupid kid naruto or funny naruto. when naruto is dead serious he will outsmart sasuke low dif. just remeber the final clash against obito or the cloaking from naruto to the Army or the time he checked that naturalengergie works against obito he noticed it with tobirama first. this is connected to be smart and hes smart

if sasuke got some more activ funny parts in manga you would not rate him that high. its because u see that dumb naruto not the serious one

In battle, I'd say they're on equal terms. They've both shown great battle tact and wit and being able to think on the fly. Naruto has impressed me more, though.

Planning ahead and calculating his opponents makes Sasuke more intelligent in that department, but Naruto is known to pick up things and take action quickly in dire situations.

Both are intelligent but at what they do best.

As for intelligence in general (math, etc...) it would obviously be Sasuke. Naruto is more of a tactile (hands on) learner.

Yes i really liked that fight,it really showcased his analyzing skills, and i agree naruto has had some smart moments throughout his fights too

yea well that's instincts... human nature , u know atleast try something...
