Are you forgetting how FTG is literally the fastest technique in the manga? When the Kunai was thrown and Minato teleported he teleported again as soon as he arrived - that was essentially a fraction of a second. Plus Gai was in mid air, not on the ground.

All this chapter buffed up was the speed of FTG - which didn't need any more feats.



Just like how you think Minato was going easy when he fought against Obito, when he thought he was Madara.

@SSJ Vegito the black spheres are faster than Obito's teleportation with Kamui and it was also close to Gai when Minato appeared, took the kunai and the balls and teleport them elsewhere. I think it's another reaction speed you're missing here

Doesn't matter as FTG is universally faster, even you yourself made a thread on Minato's godly speed with FTG when he arrived before Kamui hit Obito, which by the way isn't Kamui's fastest speed on both accounts.

He teleported knowing full well what was going to be there when he teleported, thus teleported again as soon as he arrived. That's it.

minato was rushing and power/big attacks are not the way to defeat Obito (Gai made this very clear). Using feints or speed is the way to beat him, minato was already the fastest character alive and he had his FTG kunai scattered on the ground, what more did he need?

Minato then proceeded to rotfl stomp him low diff, so why on earth would he bother to enter sage mode against an inferior opponent that can't even match his base form. Sage mode wouldn't have changed the outcome of the fight.

He is the mac-daddy, he is the big cheese of the Emo clan - of which only the strongest clan, the Senju could match - with Hashirama as their leader. Everyone and their mother knows about their rivalry, and how their final battle completely changed the face of the battlefield so much that it created a valley.

And you're trying to suggest Minato went into the fight thinking he was inferior.

Did you miss the part when minato said it was impossible for him to be Madara and that minato even says it doesn't matter who he is?

I didn't mean minato thought he was inferior, I'm the one saying he was inferior. Maybe I didn't word my sentences clearly but that's not what I was trying to say. My point was in regard to minato using sage mode against an opponent that didn't push him that far, if Obito actually hurt minato then maybe he'd think of using sm but he didn't, which is why Obito is inferior to him.
