are there any demons/spirits/ghosts in the show?

I don't care if the spirits are hallucinations. I just want to know. So that way I know what type of anime I am about to get into. right now all I know is that people go insane and you have to solve the cause of the insanity and stop it, by going back in time, I just want to know if demons/spirits/ghosts are apart of it or not.

I am talking about the anime, I know in the manga some spirits appear to haunt people, but I just want to know. So please can you help me out?

The show's horror centers around a curse originating from the town's shrine, but no, there aren't any actual spirits. There are sights you won't be expecting just from looking at the artwork, though, believe me.

IIRC, There's a single thing supernatural but I don't want to spoil it for you. Just enjoy the anime, it's a masterpiece IMO.
