I would not ultimately disregard 8th gate just because it is suicidal, i can reverse the same Logic on other characters and say "they can't do jack shit when they die". Having a suicide Move does not Take that move's power from user.

I wouldn't say it should be disregarded but, it's Gais power and it's awesome. But for many people they are using this in reference to vs threads, which just ends all his battles in ties.

I still think Gai is too 15 with 7 gates but that's just me.
