Edo Tensei Mighty Gai

Seeing the power of 8 gates, is it safe to assume that an Edo Tensei Gai could be easy top 3? (excluding SO6P and he's sons)

It's not about killing Madara .
He cannot kill Madara because of he's restraints(pain), and the limit of he's punches (I believe the limit is 5?)
This is an ideea only, so I can assume that if Gai could have these limitations removed, he would be a true beast, RIGHT?

Edo Gai doesnt exist. You cant regenerate after using forbidden jutsu. Eg Itachi went blind after using Izanami.

its not a forbidden jutsu and even if it is. Izanami is a special case. this case is only of severe bleeding and destruction of organs(he doesnt have them in edo) which can happen in any other case too. so he will regenrate and yeah he will be the strongest shinobi in edo tensei form..except sage naruto maybe!

Can you please explain why? Is it because 8 gates Gai is fighting a cocktail of stolen powers(a.k.a Maddy) and he-s making the guy cough blood? Is it because Maddy (your fav apparently) is scared s***less of that power?
In my opinion, Maddy's only escape is that he knows that Gai will die pretty soon.

Edo do not have full power, Gai might not be able to use 8 gates because of that, maybe only 6th or 7th.

And his body would probably just disperse mid-way, then regenerate, and start 8th gate again =))

He's not at all scared actually he's pretty hyped to fight guy you can see it in the last page where he says (the fight with hashi is the last time I was this excited).

It's just a theory, but...

Since the gates needs a lot of physical trainning, I would say that it's not possible open all with ET.

The result would be something like Lee trying to open the 8th gate, but resulting on 6 gates only.
The body is not trainned to open them, and even if it could maybe it would not handle the stress and will start to tear apart into ashes..

Of course it would recover after a while.

but two points:
1) probably would not be able to hit the 8 gates
2) if so, would last a little and start to deteriorate
