Madara's Last Resort

[Ciao]

So this chapter we saw Madara getting roflstomped by Gai and his fan club. At the rate things are going, he should just get his ass kicked, right? Well, I doubt Kishi is going to let Gai get in the last hit on the (as far as we know) last villain. So what is Madara to do? Sasuke and Naruto will show up any minute with leet hacks and do a number on him too. My theory (or proposition) is that Gai will precede to beat Madara to near death, but in the nick of time, the fruit from that tree will spawn and Madara will fly up to get it and gain one final upgrade.

why didnt gai just do this from the begining before madara upgraded to this Juubi form?
