This. 8G is still part of his arsenal, and he still manages a draw. Unlike RDS, Gai doesn't need to subdue his opponent.

for those saying that he couldn't break PS, how do you know. here we see him break through the defense of the black orbs by punching madara through the other side. what makes you think that he wouldn't be able to do the same thing to PS as we have seen that the black orbs can protect from the blast of four bijuu dama of the juubi's jin. we now that susano breaks with enough force so why wouldn't what guy did break it? although i will say i won't move him into the top 10 due to the fact that 8th gate is a suicide and can only be used once because of it.

madara disagrees with you according to last chapter. Madara has already paised Gai's attacks. Prefect sassano isn't stronger than the defence from the black orbs. That's bloody obvious since he badly wanted the power of the juubi.

oro was hardly prepared nor did he know how hiruzens jutsu worked. he was basically demanding hiruzen use it on him so he could know what it is. remember how he just stood there while hiruzen did the seals?

the prep is hefty. thats its main flaw. tobirama, naruto, and a few others have a good chance of killing minato before he can unleash it

But if we count this ability, it could mean that Gai is stronger than Hashirama.
Kakashi in this chapter said that one who open all 8 gates, will be stronger than kage and Madara after that said that he didn't fell this power since fight against Hashirama. Also Madara's statament could mean that Gai is stronger than Hashirama, since he now have more power than in the VoTE battle.
