A filler arc about Uchiha Itachi? Do you want it?

Do you want a filler arc about Itachi? I feel like we got not enough Itachi in the manga. Here is probably a good start for Itachi's filler arc:

I want to know more about Itachi's story as what Hiruzen told about him in the page above. What Hiruzen said made Itachi even more an interesting character that I wish that Kishi showed us more using flashbacks.

I also wanna see:
- how Itachi obtain Totsuka and Yata
- maybe a bit about his progress from Genin to ANBU
- his story in ANBU should be exciting too
- maybe more Sasuke's family moments
- more on Uchiha clan massacre, I wanna see Obito in that

I would want to see this AFTER the series. If the manga is ending this year I would prefer good animation after the Kakashi filler arc until the end THEN interesting filler like Itachi elaboration. I need to know what that necklace of his is all about. It was resurrected with him in edo tensei so it has to have some relevance to something and if it doesn't matter then at least some back story on when he got it.

Good fillers that add more depth to the story and to important characters should be fine.

Yes. But not now because like someone else said he does steal spotlight from characters, he's supposed to have a significant role in Kakashi's Anbu arc as well lol. Also the fact that he's been absent for 2 years in the manga (minus flashbacks from Sasuke/Naruto) and NarutoBase still has threads daily about him proves that.

But I would like to see all the moments you posted, plus his early academy days and who he fought in the chuunin exams when he took them.

An Itachi filler arc sounds pretty good. Although, I want to see some canon fighting and see the ten tails in anime already.
