Hello NB, for my first thread this'll be a cliched topic. The Rinnegan, again. WHY should either Naruto or Sasuke get that? IMO then the battle will become more on equal grounds. Winning such a fight cant be heroic right? If neither get any power ups and still manage to win Madara it'll be epic. But sadly, Kishimoto sama will see to that some asspull no jutsu is happening sooner. so the hype of Sasuke getting the eyes is on the rise, particularly after with the Kabuto re-entry. What if Kishimoto does a drastic asspull now and gives Naruto the rinnegan? something to so with the legacy of the sage? Naruto is bound to meet the SO6P now, or this chaos may never come to an end. then what will happen to Sasuke?

I've seen many threads stating Sasuke AND Naruto meting SO6P. Please. Sasuke is anything unlike the sage. that's why his ancestor, the elder son wasnt chosen as successor. It has to be only Naruto. There are also many threads giving a

Sasuke-> Elder son -> Rinnegan power up
Naruto-> Younger son-> some body power up

theory. My humble idea is that Naruto-> sage and not the younger son. please i dont intend to hurt any Sasuke fans.

And before going, have anyone thought of how a Senju can get the rinnegan?

Welcome to the base. Sadly, I disagree with your thread for a sole reasonower is a temporary state, meaning that Sasuke and Naruto shouldn't be equal always, and also they stopped being the parallels of the Sage's sons long time ago.Also, it could be said that Sasuke still walks in the path of the Elder Son, but Naruto left the path of the Younger Son long time ago... Hagoromo inherited his will to the Younger Son not necesarily because they shared the same point of view, but because the path of Power already failed with Kaguya before his own birth, so assuming that Naruto is like the Younger son is a great mistake.In fact, Naruto wields a new path that was not considered by the Sage back then... Power AND Love. So Naruto is not just like Hagoromo... he already surpassed him.

PS: Under the perspective of the Yin and Yang, and the fact that people in the base have certain tendency to speak about the Rinnegan as the combination of Body and Eyes of the Sage (which I feel as a big misconception), I could certainly say that there is no way a Senju could awake the Rinnegan, not even with Uchiha DNA. The Rinnegan is the manifestation of the Eyes of the Sage and this is manga fact from chapter 462, the Yin of the component was inherited by the Elder son's powerful eyes, and the Yang was inherited by the Younger son's common eyes. Ergo, the Younger son had a powerful body (the Yang of the Sage's body) and the counterpart was inherited by the Elder son, a plain common body (the Yin of the Sage's body). So, what would happen if a Senju recieves Uchiha DNA? Well, I think this Senju would enhace his/her body, the Yin and the Yang of the Sage's body would reunite creating the body of the original entity.

I think Sasuke will look weird with a Rinnegan. His eyes will always be that way unlike the Sharingan which can be activated whenever he wants. I don't know. Just my opinion! But the way things are going it looks like he will get the rinnegan!

Guys i'm nt a fanboy. Even though i prefer naruto to sasuke who i tnk is a confused fellow, i actually tnk sasuke own d rinnegan powerup. It suits him mur dan naruto. It wnt match wf naruto's character. Datx y kishi hint's it wf black stripes behind naruto. On the other hand, naruto has beta chances of using it he's seen it several times in action xo i tnk he knws mur abt its capability dan sasuke. But why think 2 much abt it, d curiousity u al av nw is wat makes us kishi's fans, so lets jxt wait and c. Kishi is ful of suprises

i think it is established that natural/original rinnegan owners can deactivate their eyes at will e.g. madara switching back to EMS from rinnegan

OT: kishi can't always please everyone.....while the main characters receiving power-ups can be considered asspull , their defeating madara with current powers could also be considered severe nerfing/PnJ

plus it's pretty weird to see naruto, a non-dojutsu wielder who has almost zero uchiha DNA/power , using/having rinnegan

if Naruto becomes a pseudo sage I think he will be either 1 or 2 on the Top 10 list, depending on how he fares against Rikoudu Madara. If that's the case and Sasuke gets the Rinnegan then he gets 4th place:

1. 2. Rikoudu Naruto/Rikoudu Madara
3. Juubito
4. Rinnegan Sasuke
5. 6. SM Hashirama/Nagato

Edit: after some thought, Even though I think it's likely Rinnegan Sasuke will be stronger than Hashirama, I'm not certain that will be the case. And then there's the lurking feeling I have of Nagato being able to go toe to toe with Hashi... But he'll definintely be above Nagato due to the extra EMS techs. So I'd make the list look something like this

1. 2. Rikoudu Naruto/Rikoudu Madara
3. Juubito
4. 5. Rinnegan Sasuke/SM Hashirama
6. Nagato

First, we know that Madara isn't invincible. Obito stabbed him in the chest and took out pieces of the 1-tails and 8-tails chakra. Madara is now just a tiny bit weaker, and we know that even at full power he's not invulnerable.

We also know that Naruto is going to get something. Exactly what it is, we don't know. But it's suspicious that the chakra Obito stole from Madara is exactly what Naruto was missing from his complete set. Naruto had chakra from all the other bijuus except the 9-tails (which was stolen), the 9-tails and the 1-tail. Naruto is going to get the other half of the 9-tails to save his life, and he's going to get the other two from Obito. What the effect of that will be, we don't know.

Sasuke also is going to get some powerups. He's getting healed by Kabuto (who, we remember, studied the sharingan and the rinnegan extensively). Orochimaru made recent mention that Sasuke hadn't reached his potential and could become stronger than Madara. The next obvious step in the development of his eyes and his powers would be to unlock the Rinnegan (and if anybody can help him do that, it's Kabuto).

Most likely we're going to see some kind of yin/yang kind of effect: Sasuke is going to get the Rinnegan, while Naruto is going to get Juubi-like sage power. The two of them working together as a team will be able to defeat Madara.

just a qn about senju with rinnegan, askd to refresh the audience. if Uchiha can get rinnegan then senju MAY get too right? i didnt mean anyone, least of all Naruto; as for beating madara, i believe (or hope) juubi'll absorb Madara's chakra and exhaust him like bee and gyuuki had explained to naruto during his kyuubi mode training . or some other plot no jutsu. kishi is full of those so anything could be possible

I don't want naruto to have rinnegan either. He'll look worse than Sasuke!
