Would've just been the most awesome powerup to have used in tandem with Sage Mode and Bijuu mode - it would've been the perfect blend of three chakra types.

This also makes me hopeful of other characters that, maybe didn't master the eight gates, but may have opened at least six or seven.

Well, Its true naruto wouldn't go through with it.... he rather make a new rasengan...Lol
But really, I don't think they kyuubi chakra wouldn't be able to heal the damage from the eighth gate considering that it bursts your heart presumably...

His frog kata is pretty much the best Taijutsu in the manga, bar a few exceptions.

Still doubtful, Kisame with a weaker Bijuu's chakra healed from having his chest and internal organs burst open.

I thought there was some sort of affinity required for gates? He should also be devoted to taijutsu with physical training which he is not.

Not to mention that would be a **** move to Dai, Gai, Lee.

And Kaaant no; Tobirama does not have usage of gates. I don't even recall him saying "taijutsu" or said to be proficient at it.
