Itachi & Nagato

Now I don't know if its completely legit that Nagato > Itachi but the reason better not be bc of Planetary Devastation.

Planetary Devastation or Chibaku Tensei is Nagato's Trump Card and every Nagato Fan knows that. He would never use it at the beginning of a match.

All situations where Nagato had no choice but to resort to use it.

But in Itachi's case every single fight he has been he has caught his opponent in Genjutsu in some shape or form.

Itachi has always started his matches with Genjutsu bc he's so good at using it!

And Nagato somehow doesn't fall into Itachi's Genjutsu? Just like Minato doesn't fall in it either?

We also all know that Nagato is a target for Genjutsu as well.

He's not immune to Genjutsu.

He's also a victim for Izanami.

Nagato thought he was a God and Jiraiya thought otherwise bc Nagato oc is not a God and that plays victim to Izanami.

Itachi's Susano'o (Yata Mirror) plays a great defense when needed meaning that he oesnt have to just sit and pointlessly camp inside it and consume Chakra.

Its also a very poor argument saying that Itachi has poor stamina bc he used Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi twice in one day. No problem really.

Now Itachi beating Nagato doesn't make Nagato weak at all, in fact in a Top 10 Nagato would be placed higher bc overall he defeats more Shinobi than itachi does.

Edit: This Scan proves Itachi's victory even more.

Wrong on Izanami, before he died he accepted himself as a failure, wrong on other accounts to. On my phone though..

discussing rather or not if someone can beat someone else, isnt allowed in ND

that being said

i seriously think itachi can beat nagato with no legs

he effortlessly found out blind spots in the rinngean and the other weakness such as nagato strongest jutsu.

itachi can beat nagato

i dont want it to be looked at it like a versus thread.

Dont forget the Animal's eye sight is linked with Pain's so when Itachi captures his summoning in a Genjutsu then Pain gets caught in it too.

Nagato has to much chakara in him to be beat by itachi he had summons that can hold his susano down...yea he can be caught in sound genjutsu just like itachi can but can nagato be caught in sight genjutsu that's still unknown.

Your whole argument is that nagato gets genjutsu gg'ed which is 99% of itachi fan arguments, nagato summons chameleon and goes inside it and goes invisible, the whole genjutsu argument goes down the drain

if genjutsu could beat nagato then it would have been used on him prior to his death because it was itachi's mission to spy on akatsuki and protect the shinobi world and he could have easily put nagato under genjutsu which would have halted akatsuki plans form a while, also obito was capable of controlling yagura so it makes sense he was capable of controlling nagato with the same genjutsu to make nagato do as he wishes because even though obito was recognized as the leader later on, nagato still had his own agenda and to ensure nagato never betrayed him he could have easily put nagato under genjutsu but since he didnt that means he couldnt, and edo itachi didnt try to use tsukoyami on nagato which would have made that battle much easier between nagato, killer bee and naruto but he didnt so he couldnt...

itachi cant fight all those summons and nagato and he wouldnt even be able to hit nagato with all the shared vision of nagato and his summons so...

if they were alive it would favor nagato even more becasue of the 6 paths, itachi cant beat all of them...

nagato > itachi but its not by much

Nagato beats Itachi 8 times out of ten at least.

no animal summons have ever been put in genjutsu...

and i already explained why visual genjutsu dnt work on nagato

The fact is, Nagato CAN use it at the beginning, and Itachi has no counter for it. That is just one reason Nagato beats Itachin

Actually,

1: Jiraiya sealed Pain's Summoning so Itachi can with Totsuka Blade

2: Its unknown but it doesnt mean he's immune to it. you could say that about any character saying they have alot of Chakra and are immune to Genjutsu.

Heres another typical argument, well its bc its true. as i provided proof Itachi ALWAYS solos with Genjutsu. Sharingan can see Pain's Chakra.

how is izanami useless??? kabuto was claiming to be close to rikudo and got solo'd by it

how is nagato who is claiming to be beyond rikudo! (he is claiming to be a god!) immune to izanami??
