Why do people hate him ?

Kabuto Yakushi is a very tragic character . He lost the sense of his being . He joined Orochimaru , only to find who he is . He was found alone and was raised by a woman which he called "mother" , and irocinally The Root made him kill her . Isn't this sad ? Kabuto , from the very beginning was alone . Orochimaru then told the him the truth and he decided to join Orochimaru . Orochimaru dies , Kabuto decides to continue Orochimaru's legacy . Isn't this great ? In the recent chapters , he already quit being Orochimaru's "servant" , because as I said , he purposely joined him to find who he is .

Many people fail to realize his true character though . Is it just me , but I f*cking love tragic characters .

I used to hate him because he used dirty strategy when he fought tsunade but I am glad that she kicked his ass ..

kabutos rushed "redemption" ruined it for me but before that he was a good and interesting villain who gave hints early on he used to be a good person once.

Kakashi,naruto,obito and madara had more tragic past than him and they are well written characters U_U

I liked him at first, but he got annoying fast. Then after Oro died I was mad that he continued with Oro's twisted way of life. I don't care what happened in the past. Kabuto was smart enough to know right from wrong but followed that sadistic S.O.B. anyways. He's twisted, period.

He is a well written character motivated well.

Don't expect majority of people to acknowledge a character's tragedy and inner conflicts when he/she is not an Uchiha, Naruto or Gaara.

Even him being "Orochimaru's *****/wannabe" as people say tells a lot about him. People who seek acknowledgement can find themselves linked to a person who they look up to, and have self identity issues like Kabuto had.

I actually liked him better when he was just a medical nin without the sage mode. It bothers me that he went that far to copy Orochimaru. But I'm glad that he is no longer going to follow Oro and that he is completing one good deed through reviving Sasuke as of now.

He's a wonderful character, shame more people don't get him. But a lot of people here are not watching this for the story or characters but for the big explosions, so it's understandable.
