But You Didn't - Minato and Kushina's story in art

So lately a very beautiful comic strip called "But You Didn't" went viral around the internet - it's very touching and nicely drawn. The characters used for it reminded me very much of Minato and Kushina, so I decided to rework it and draw my own version of "But You Didn't" - Naruto style.

I hope you enjoy this... I tried to capture in it a story that I find to be both beautiful and tragic, and I would be very happy if I managed to convey those feelings at least partially!

Actually that's exactly what I was happiest about when he was brought back with Edo Tensei! I always found it so... unfair... so very wrong, that his soul would be trapped like that, unable to ever find peace, when he was the one character who probably deserved it least - not just even if, but mostly BECAUSE he was so willing to throw away his life and peace of mind to protect what is important to him. It just felt like the ultimate sacrifice - which is what made their story so tragic for me.

So yes, I'm really happy with how things turned out now! Even IF Kishi is turning him into an idiot in the manga lately... -.-
