We already have had a back story on the 2clans and everything there. The only one left alive with meaning is hinata so unless she has significant panel time their will be no flashback. If she has panel time then it might only be a fleeting memory of a panel or 2.

We'll purposively they are related to the uchiha because they both have a duojutsu the sharigan and the byakugan, the byakugan is all whitish with a tint of blue because they have gone through purity and don't have hate in their eyes that's as far as he'll give us because kishi loves his uchiha's. if im wrong im sorry about that.

The Hyuugas are not really important anymore. Kishi obviously doesn't give 2 shits about them. Gai's father was shown so we would know where he got his traits from. The flashback was necessary because Gai is about to die.

you might not have realized this but long time ago ems didn't exist and is the result of the uchiha trying to seal the MS

in other words ems is a false dojutsu because it didn't exist until the uchiha sealed their own eyes

Think ,the uchiha were trying to free themselves forme hatred and what is the name of byakugan ? the white eye and it maybe translated to the eyes without hatred.
there is definitely a connection between uchihas and the hyuugas and it will be shown in the future chapters.
