Is Kamui that OP?

Obito's kamui is slower than Kakashi's kamui and sending himself into the other dimension is a lot slower than sending other things.Kakashi can use it a long,close and attack/defense too.

Not really, its been counter by many people. Most important for kamui works best is to hide it completely so people can't come up with a counter right away. Kamui only op against fodders like hinata, kiba. It might take them months to know how to counter kamui

I think that's a manga joke. If he can really kamui the whole jubi, then they don't need to fight the war at all. Kakashi solo jubi like how people say kamui snipe everyone, along with jubi. That's one of worse joke in war arc. Everyone can just sit back giving kakashi chakara, naruto woulda been kakashi's charger, so kakashi would be the next so6p ending the war. Big joke from manga. Now since you mention it and I think more about it, it starting to look to me like kamui hachibi is an asspull tactic

Obito was gimped because he lacked his other eye; that much was confirmed when two eyes allowed him to jump at double the speed. Same goes for Danzo and bird Uchiha.

Kamui is a very strong jutsu. People are forgetting the fact its not until recent chapters that shinobi were able to counter it and honestly its because kakashi was around. If Kakashi isnt around you wont beat Obito. If you keep saying Minato and FTG can counter then why did he die? Obito is a powerful Shinobi because of Madara.

The nine tails and his family are why Minato died. I wish people would stop giving Obito credit for his death. Had Minato been solely focused on Obito he would've stomped him.

Then he wouldn't be half zetsu. That means he woulda been blind 10 years ago for the way he spam it. Restricting kamui usage like that. He would be restricted to use the only jutsu he knows aka kamui, and he would have to learn lots of technique like rasengan to stay alive

Obito can pass through attacks, but he has to be intangible right before his opponent hits him for the attack to pass through. If his opponent hits him while he's tangible, he will be hurt and essentially screwed over. That was shown when he lost his zetsu arm to Minato's rasengan, when that shinobi from the Aburame clan (Torune) caused him to lose his zetsu arm once again by infecting it w/ bugs, and when Obito had to use izanagi in order to change reality in order to save his face and part of his upper body from Itachi's amaterasu activation. That and Konan revealed that Obito could only keep his entire body intangible for five minutes max and he had to use izanagi a second time in order to avoid dying by her paper bombs (he took several sharingans from the Uchiha massacre). MS Obito has quite a few weaknesses that can be exploited if you think about it. Also, if kamui was as hax as everyone says it is, he would have never formed Akatsuki and just gotten the bijuus himself. He wouldn't have worried about Itachi or hide himself/techniques(Izanagi) from him and continued his plans whether the guy was alive or not. He wouldn't have relied on Sasuke to mess w/ the gokages.

ot: It's not that op, kamui does have alot of weaknesses that can be exploited. Kishi has even made a point of several characters saying they either have counters to it or know the limitations (Konan, Itachi, Kakashi, etc.) It's just very overrated.

This isn't exactly how kamui works.

While intangibility is "on" obito can phase through anything for 5 minutes, & when he turns it "off" [in order to warp or use a jutsu] then he becomes tangible.

He doesn't have to activate it every time he's about to get hit, it's automatic until he deactivates it or the 5 min limit is up.
