From what I studied it was made to protect the citizens of the U.S. The amendments that are supposed to protect the citizens are the first 10 which is called the Bill of Rights. Other than that I don't know much about the U.S. Constitution even though I am a citizen :p

How do you mean? It was created to protect the citizens against the very government they just rebelled against.

First off you need to know what you are talking about before you start to debate something(no insult intended).

The constitution's purpose is to delegate powers to each branch of the government, and nothing to do with favoring one group of people or the other, or giving rights to people. The constitution was made to put the power in "We the People"'s hand, and not in the grip of a small group of people.

However the Bill of Rights, which is emblematic of rights already given to us by God, again does not favor one group of people or another.

The biggest issues I had with the conception of these documents, is that fact that a portion of the the founding fathers blocked Thomas Jefferson from delegating these rights to slaves as well(both black and white).

Yes and no. It was made to protect ALL the classes.

It was made to protect individuals, regardless of their class.

Sadly, when the constitution is bypassed, only upper classes benefit, while the others suffer.

What im speaking of is just the basics. Perhaps the other ammendments(additional than the first 10) may be targetted for protecting one class over another.

As the founders made it though, all people were equal(with the exception of black people, whom were not considered true people(and the constitution couldve literally had just 1 sentence added, and blacks would not have been a exception.

At the time, due to only men running stuff, and usually just men being educated, woman were not excluded, but were a bit left out(voting rights sort of thing)

The Constitution was designed to protect the lower class.
That's where freedom of religion, protest, right to bare arms, and say whatever the hell you want came from.
Hell try explaining how freeing slaves helped the upper class.
It isn't the Constitution that's been made to benefit the rich it's the piece of shit politicians in the senate and congress that keep writing in new laws to benefit themselves and their campaign donors that benefit the upper class.
Explain to me exactly how it's okay for a congressman to serve one term in the house and collect a 150k pension for the rest of his life and at the same time they try to take away the pensions of 20+ year military veterans who make a fraction of that?
The people in power right now are corporate sell outs and scumbags that are in it for the money and nothing else. They don't even vote most of the time to earn that damn pension. It's sickening. Whoever gave them free reign to write their own paychecks made a grave error.

i'm not familiar enough with the subject. but i think the constitution was made to protect every person regardless of standing. afterwards the upper class managed to twist it in their favour.

the problem is not with the constitution or the law, the problem is with the twisted and corrupt court system.
