[Discussion] Which is more important to you regarding the 8th gate?

i do not feel that this manga has had enough tragedy in it but gai dieing will be a step in the right direction.. as much as i like his character

the manga feels a bit to safe imo

it would make it even better if he can do some serious damage and the alliance take advantage of a wound that he left in order to win

I'm cheering for Gai doing something related to Madara. Weakening him, finding a secret about him (a kind of weakness) or finding a way for Lee/Ten Ten/Kakashi to go rampage (giving them an opening).

If Gai doesn't do anything, his death would be meaningless. All the hype related to the Eighth Gate would be turned into ashes... Ergo, bad writting.

I want him to nerf Madara, not just some punch which will be waste. I would like if he could destroy his one Rinnegan.

8th Gate needs to be considered a miracle technique in this war >.>. After having waited so long to see something we knew would one day happen, & then spend a chapter talking about it, Madara needs to get brutalized even if for a short while. To be honest I don't see Gai dying for some reason, the technique itself would kill him, but maybe Naruto gains the Kyuubi & boosts Gai's chakra limit, enough to keep him alive.
