i dont get obito's kamui?

Ok so the jist is he can send his body into another dimension but as kakashi explained it he can send individual body parts into another dimension but which ever he does he cant attack while usng kamui but i dont get that? As kakashi explained if kamui only effected say his foot why cant he still hit you with his hand if it only effected his foot? Unless it was a jutsu that effects the whole body but can still target a certain area which is kinda weird lol(weird as in kamui effects your whole body but your face only goes into the other dimension). Am i missing something or taking something the wrong way?

I'm sure it was mentioned at some point that if he was using Kamui, then parts of his body that would be hit just warp automatically, could be wrong about that though.

Because if he attacks while any of his body part is in kamui land then that part will get cut off from his body instead of coming back to obito.
Like how kakashi did to deidara.
Kakashi ripped out his arm.
If obito kamui'd his foot and at the same time if he attacks with his hand then that would cut off the link between his foot in kamuiland and to his body resulting in it being ripped apart. So needs to maintain kamui on whole of his body.
Atleast this is my reasoning. I may be wrong.

While it's active, anything that would normally touch Obito passes through him as that part of him is sent to the Kamui verse, but still linked to his body. If he were to stop that link while he was still partially in teh non Kamui verse, he would be disconnected with the part of him still there. ( Note; this is probably what he did to get rid of the Amaterasu Sasuke shot at him.

-He needs to be fully in the real world to be able to wrap someone or himself to the other dimension.​

no your not listening lol like you said obito can send different parts to the other demension and needs to keep the link so kamui must stay active, what i dont understand is that if kamui only effects his foot then only his foot is effected by kamui right? so why not while using kamui can he punch you unless kamui effects the whole body regardless

If someone attacks his head, He will send only his head to the other dimension meaning the rest of his body is still in the real world and can still punch or kick you there.​

When activated the jutsu "Covers" all of his body and anything he is touching ( Weapons ect ).

Anything that touches him while he has Kamui active will do this. Even if he tries to touch other people.

Note that here he had to be NOT using Kamui to TOUCH minato, so that he could then use Kamui to suck him inside.
This is why he was hit.
