It's not fair how much attention Gai is getting

Gai bout to die and gets flashbacks, multiple chapters, characters actually caring (seriously, Neji's death only had one line "Neji's dead!?" and shocked faces, nothing more)

This is bias against characters and shows Kishi is a horrible writer. Yea, I said it. Attack

I disagree. I had preference with Gai from even before Neji died.

...now, to be honest... when Neji died, there are two characters that I really hated:

Hinata and Kiba. The first one due the "strong and big hands" and the second one due "I wanna be Hokage" and going in rampage... late.

Well we knew more about Neji more than Gai. We already knew about neji past.

We never knew who Gai's dad was and how he learned to open the gates. Until this most recent chapter

He was the Hyuuga genius and had more of a connection to the main character than Gai seeing how they were basically peers. Neji was actually a friend that died....yea Gai is important to Naruto but more in a sensei way

Yea he's going out like a straight OG but still. Neji's death was a self-sacrifice and he gets a lot of flak on the base from ppl saying he "died from sticks"

yea, Hinata is my favorite character but that kinda bothered me too. It made his death seem like a forced NaruHina ploy
