I see your points but itachi final susanoo is not a regualr susano attack and defense wise. I don't see hirudora passing yata and yea I don't think guy will fall for the genjutsu because he knows about sharingan. I think itachi can either create a distraction and Amaterasu him or try to outlast the 8th gate with yata. If gai outlasts him then he wins but I don't think he will be able to land a killing blow.

Obito's Kamui is faster than any of gai's Gates, specially after Obito was able to Go intangible faster than Juubi Jin madara can move at a meter's distance. Ms obito would be able to Take on gai.

That wasn't a 1v1 fight tho it was 4v1 and I'm an obito fan yes a fanboy no U_U
And as I was saying in a 1v1 obito can just pretend to attack gai and just keep phasing thru him making him waste stamina and chakra like he did against fuu and torune. Eventally obito will kamui him because no1 else is around to save him. If he goes gates he only harms himself U_U. Taijutsu is the worst matchup for obito who also could easily predict gais movements in that fight.

Before obito even touched the ground naruto tried to mini bijuu bomb him and kakashi tried to kamui the mazo and he had to defend from both. He was protecting the maza while fighting the 4 of them. Right after that tho I remember him phasing thru every thing guy did, read his movements and take his weapons which also was for naruto to attack. Without them there he would have been kamuid. So, I'm assuming you have a scan showing any 1 instance where obito had a remote chance of warping guy? Like he did naruto? I'm also assuming you have a scan where guy was in any other form than base? He didn't even need to go 1 gate to easily parry obito.

I still don't see how tho. Gai is strong but I only see him winning if itachi can't hold up susanoo. Also itachi can surely keep up with his speed just like KCM naruto who is faster than A. Gai has striking speed but against some1 as analytical as itachi he will find a way to win. That's itachis motto lol ppl say he couldn't beat nagato and kabuto but he found a way.
