SFX: Pierce
A giant fire elephant appears and impales Madara with its two tusks, leaving no time for him to cast his technique.
Madara(coughing blood): Gaaaah!

SFX: Shatter
Madara grabs the two tusks and breaks them apart with his bare hands.
SFX: Dissolving
The remains of the tusks inside Madara's body lose form and vanish as energy into the atmosphere.
SFX: Wounds closing
The gash in Madara's chest heals instantly and Madara lands on the ground.
SFX: Charge
The elephant rushes toward him, ready to impale him once again.
Madara: Again?
He barely manages to get out of the way.
Madara: Damn! This thing is fast
SFX: Flying

Madara: I will make your pain quick. Sword of Nunoboko!
SFX: Black chakra materialises into a large, double-helix shaped sword.
SFX: Air currents moving past
Madara dives like a bolt of lightning towards the enormous red figure
Gai: !!!
SFX: Explosion
The sword carves a huge crater in the ground

They have been protected by a wall of sand
Gaara: Let's move out of here
Kakashi: Right, let's get some distance away and wait until we find an opportunity.
Lee(crying): We can't leave Gai sensei.
Minato: Your name is lee, right? When the battle is over, we will get Gai out of here.
Lee(wiping tears on his face): Fourth Hokage...
Minato: You can just call me Minato. At least, let's try to remain alive and prepare our strategy.

SFX: Rotating
Madara: (Upwards!) Onmyoudon-Susanoo's Shield
SFX: The sword shifts into a shield of black chakra
Gai: Feel the power of the red beast!
SFX: Smash! Rotating!
The red elephant crashes against the shield.
SFX: Red sparks shooting through the atmosphere! Air currents becoming wild.
Madara: This shield is a variant of the sword of nunoboko capable of nullifying all attacks.
Gai: What about natural energy?
Madara: Huh?

SFX: Crack
Small cracks are visible in the shield.
Madara(shocked): How is this possible?
Gai(look of triumph): So, you can't sense natural energy in your jinchuriki form.
Madara: ( I see... He has merged his technique with natural energy from the atmosphere. His rapid rotating descent has set a swirling motion of energy from the skies to the earth)
Gai: You seem to have figured it out. However, it's the end!
The small cracks become large cracks as the shield is being crushed apart.

The shield is destroyed into pieces

Madara tries to escape.

Gai makes a flashback
Dai Maito is lying motionless on the ground

Gai closes his fist
Gai(serious): ( Yeah, you can laugh! But as the son of my father, I would prove his words and honor his name. That's my ninja way)
