Third Coffin Edo Ninja in Hiruzen vs Orochimaru Fight?????

I have a question? Everyone is saying that the third coffin was minato's coffin (I also thought that is was him at first), but why couldn't it have been Madara. If Orochimaru and Kabuto knew about the history of Obito and Madara, it could have been Madara in the coffin and not Minato.

Orochimaru is a true genius according to the manga, meaning that he would have known that minato's soul was sealed in the reaper death seal jutsu, and cannot be summoned. Thus it doesn't make sense that he would try to summon minato.

If it was Madara being summoned, I can understand Hiruzen being scared, because all of the shinobi world at that time would have shat themselves if they had to face Hashirama, Tobirama, Madara and Orochimaru at the same time.

Maybe Kishimoto just didn't want to reveal Madara yet at that moment.

ok u tried 2 make a good point but u really just sound dumb because u say how can Orochimaru know when he's never seen shiki fujin be4 but by that logic no one should know because no one ever actually see's it until it comes 4 ur soul. all & all im sure Orochimaru knew about Minato he is a pretty good spy u know. srry if sounded a little mean but i see so much stuff on here that's incorrect & i never say anything but i just happened 2 be signed in when i saw this & i couldn't help myself lol SRRY

It can't be Minato in the third coffin.

Minato's soul is in the stomach of the god of death during the fight between Orochimaru and Hiruzen.
Minato's soul was still there when Orochimaru opened the stomach of the shinigami few chapters ago.

It's not Minato in the third coffin.


If it was really Minato in that coffin , that would imply that:
-Orochimaru mastered the shinigami jutsu
-He opened the shinigami stomach to seal Minato's soul into a living body before going fighting Hiruzen
-He sealed Minato's soul into the stomach of the shinigami after the fight , via a kamikaze ( if Oro did it , his soul would have been sealed)

It's possible , but hard to justify.


Madara is a possibility.
Who have more information , Orochimaru or Kabuto?
Who is the best "indiana jones" , Orochimaru or Kabuto?
Who found Madara's corpse , Orochimaru or Kabuto?

Would be pretty dumb to pull Madara out because he would have just broke out like .. Right now.
