After Gai I could see someone else from the older generation dying out. Kakashi's story is almost at a close, he's still gotta seek some sense of resoultion between Sasuke and Naruto, even if it means being a potential catalyst for their clash. I thought Tsunade, but plot shield kept her around, even after a sword through the gut and being split in half.
