KA definitely works on Hashirama and Madara(prior to becoming the jinchuriki of the juubi). Sadly, Itachi never used it as a combat weapon and instead rigged it to work on sasuke, so he can't use it in this fight.

KA isn't working on Hashi cuz he's not destroying the leaf..EMS madara hasn't been showing to be able to counter it but knowing him as a master of the sharingan he probably would be able to

Evani, I think you are mistaking KA for izanami. KA works by controlling someone without the user actually knowing it. It doesn't matter whether you are a good guy or not. An example is when Danzo used it on Mifune at the kage summit. KA is so OP, that it would indeed one shot guys like Hashirama and Madara. Too bad it has a 10 year cool down.
