I don't quite understand where you're getting "a magnetic bubble" from. The previous manga panel simple shows the Sandaime Kazekage puppet activating it's technique (SFX is sound related). So that whole tab is regarding to sound.

Are you suggesting that because Sasori can supposibly "break" the sound barrier that it catches Minato?? Not everything is what it seems, if it had broken the sound barrier Chiyo should have been able to react and note it was at the last second and at a close distance

Not in the least. It's just OP was stating he/she wouldn't accept the feat of Sasori breaking the sound barrier. The reason as to how/why Chiyo escaped with her life during such a technique is because she stayed stationary and implemented the chakra shied defense mechanism while the Iron Sand was reforming. Remember in the previous chapter she had used the chakra shield for a previous Iron Sand assault.

She predicted the predictable. Basically.

No the predicted was the same Iron Sand being reformed aong with similar tactics. Chiyo expected it. Thus, she prevented it. I never said it would affect Minato on a high-scale. But also don't count out minute techniques. It's the small things that many seem to miss.

He does have a point though, there are many ways of interpreting that situation, had it ever occurred to some people that it just got faster in an instant? that he just sped up the sand? that little barrier thing was just a easy way to illustrate its sudden velocity increase.

She never said anything about knowing how fast the sand was and that would be a vital bit of information to tell Sakura about, hence why i say it was coincidence and that she blocked it out of convenience and that it wasn't sound speed sand. The first sand assult

That was the purpose of the bubble. The rods didn't accelerate just because.

Doesn't matte if İS broke the sound barrier or not, being above the speed of sound is nothing special in NV physical standarts.

where did this chakra go/what was it used for...?
why did those spikes magically speed up, midway through flight, instead of when they were initially launched..?
