Ignoring their bond, Sasuke makes his move!
Sakura: [Looks close to tears, then shouts] Sasuke!!You...
[Naruto is groaning and shouting out in pain as his body trembles.]
[As bad as Naruto is, Kurama is actually worse. The Biju cries out in agony as it is faced in it and Naruto’s shared mental landscape by Sasuke.]
Sasuke: It’s time you return to your masters, you filthy beast.
[Naruto and Kurama both roar as the former is reverted back to his base state.]
Shikamaru: (Predictable.)
[He quickly makes the hand seals for Shadow Possession Jutsu and catches the traitorous Uchiha in it.]
Sai: (Time for me to step in!) [He charges forward, withdrawing his blade, ready to swipe at Sasuke.]
[Orochimaru leaps across and knees Shikamaru in the head. Both his and Sasuke’s heads snap back, but from there the jutsu is cancelled. Sasuke’s momentum carries him back and he tumbles along into a fighting position, unsheathes his sword, and crosses blades with Sai.]
[The Uchiha twists his wrist, therefore freeing his blade from its engagement and aims to cut off Sai’s head. But he twists away from Sasuke and tries to slit his throat, to which Sasuke jumps away and once again crosses blades with his foe. Sai sends an array of Ink beats after his opponent but Sasuke counters with a Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu. Sai dashes ahead out of the smoke and once again engages Sasuke in a kenjutsu battle. The area is filled with sounds of their clashing blades.]
Sakura: [Approaching and then kneeling down next to Naruto] (Please be ok..)
[The blond ninja opens his eyes, smiles at her and tries to get up. But, he starts falling down again out of pain. The pink haired kunoichi grabs him and holds him. Naruto is astonished. Sakura blushes but continues to hold the injured hero.]
[Shikamaru goes to stab Orochimaru up through his chin with a kunai, but the Sanin grabs his hand, pulls him forward, and decks him with a mighty punch. Shikamaru is quick to get up and create distance between them. He attempts to catch Orochimaru in Shadow Possession Jutsu but he just slithers out of its path like a snake. Orochiamru spits out a wave of snakes but Shikamaru skewers them with Shadow Stitching Jutsu. A big snake approaches his side but the Konoha Chunin merely tosses a paper bomb down its throat.]
[Sai is being pushed back by Sasuke, getting nearer to Shikamaru. The Alliance members therefore nod at each other and swap opponents. Orochimaru spits out Kusangi and blocks a stab by Sai towards his heart. Shikamaru tries to plant a paper bomb on Sasuke’s hip.]
Sasuke: You really think someone like me will be taken out by such pitiful attempts!?
[He does a spinning hook kick into Shikamaru’s hand, knocking away the tag. This was part of Shikamaru’s plan do, as he uses his momentum to turn and go to slash Sasuke’s right eye out with his kunai. Sasuke ducks underneath this.]
Sasuke: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!
[Shikamaru moves back out of the way of the flames but is relentlessly pursued by Sasuke. The Uchiha charges his Chidori through his weapon.]
[Shikamaru is brutally cut through by the Chidori-enhanced slash of Sasuke’s blade.]
[Naruto grinds his teeth, his frustration building. Sakura gently squeezes his hand and ever so softly eases him to the ground. She stands up and runs forward.....attacking Sasuke!!]
[The kunoichi knees him in the stomach, elbows him in the back, and kicks him away. Sasuke gets up and his EMS glows threateningly as his Susano’o ribcage and hand form. Sakura reaches in to her pocket for a kunai as she presses on ahead.]
[Choji is running to the side of his injured friend but his path is intercepted by Jugo.]
Jugo: This is Sasuke’s will, so I have no choice but to abide.
Choji: Damn it, get out of my way! Partial Expansion Jutsu!
[Choji swings his enlarged arm but Jugo enters his partial cursed form and blocks it. He moves ahead and blocks a punch right at him from enlarged Choji’s arm.]
Jugo: [Eyes sporting a deranged and blood lusted look, as he transforms into his Curse Mark V2 form.] I’m going to rip you apart, you fat little loser!!
[Choji just stays looking determined as he activates his Human Boulder Jutsu and him and Jugo clash.]
Obito: Bwahayahahahayaahah
[Avoids a punch by Tobirama and shoots Minato with the Asura Path’s cannon shot as he continues to laugh demonically.]
Obito: Bwahahahha. What a model apprentice! Bwhaahaahuahaayahaaa.
[As Choji is still engaging Jugo, Ino manages to reach their teammate. However, unbeknownst to the busy medical ninja, Suigetsu is behind her...]
Suigetsu: (Time to put down a no good kunoichi...) Umph!
[He was punched away by Temari! She takes out her fan and assumes a defensive position in front of Ino and Shikamaru.]
Temari: Just focus on healing him, I’ll deal with anyone who comes our way! (He’ll be ok, he’ll be ok <the end of their fight in the Chunin Exams> please, be all right...)
[Karin is looking on, conflicted....]
[Kakashi is standing up and watching the events with a sad face.]
[B, Gamakichi, and Aoda have to act fast as the Juubi tries to get up again and they must restrain it!]
Sasuke: Tsk. Yet again it still stands. No matter, it’s weakened now. I can finish it once I gain control. Which reminds me...Orochimaru, now!
[Sasuke then dodges a punch from Sakura as she then leaps away from a punch by his Susano’o hand. Orochimaru bounds away from Sai. The evil Sanin tries to take control of the Edo Hokages! But, it fails?!]
Tobirama: [Dodging missiles from Obito’s Asura Path] While we had the Four Red Sons Barrier up, my brother siphoned through some chakra to us and formed a seal for each of us so as to resist your control!
Orochimaru: Impressive. But, it won’t last long.
Naruto: Plenty of time to settle this!!
[Naruto approaches Kurama in their shared landscape and bumps his fist to the lazily lying paw of the drained and in pain fox.]
Naruto: I’m sorry...I could sense Sasuke still had evil intentions but I chose to ignore them....I just wanted to believe he had changed....and because of that you got hurt...I’m so, so sorry buddy....
Kurama: It’s...o..o..ok..kit........
Naruto: Is it really though? It’s time for me to do something....
[Sakura skilfully and elegantly dodges around a boulder to avoid a shot of Amaterasu. She punches the ground, cracking it and forcing Sasuke to jump up. She throws shuriken towards him which bounce off his Susano’o ribcage but she then leaps at him and kicks him to the ground. He forms a Susano’o skeleton ad fires more Amaterasu at his former comrade. She again avoids but he picks up a shuriken and throws it at her, grazing her arm. He dispels his Susano’o and dashes at her, his sword held overhead and descending on Sakura. Sakura recomposes her position and prepares to throw a punch. However, neither hit lands as Naruto appears in-between them, blocking Sasuke’s sword with his kunai and sporting a murderous glare.]
Naruto: I’m tired of this, SASUKE!!!
His capacity for forgiveness has reached its limit!
