I was just wondering about the fodder-nin,why are they so many i mean sure i know they're just there for background but still jonin using basic firestyle? And how come they're still so many when literally thousands of them got slaughtered in the anime

A division is 2000. The alliance was about 80000. 2 third of them died. So a good 26667 is left.

If I recall correctly, the're about 80k of them at the beginning of the war, so thousands slaughtered doesnt prevent tens of thousands to continue fighing. And the're useless, because the're, well... Fodders?

I agree, the fodder should be given more attention. Kishi is making them seem weaker than chunin exam genin.
-Kishi should make ANBU, Jounin- usefull- or atleas capable. You have to ask youself- if naruto didnot become a chuunin after the exams-or rock lee, etc.. how in the world did these individuals become chuunin, nevertheless jounin.

@bold Kishi can't waste time and space to show jutsus from them. They are irrelevant.

I wonder why they are fodders in the first place and why only some kids are powerfull. I mean they all ninjas have their own clan and some of them have KGs and none of them seem to have any summons or anything. Konoha seems like a big village but all they have is just some 10-12 kids who are powerfull and Kakashi. There should have been a bit of randomness in the manga,I dnt know how to say. Story is about Naruto but it is too localized..
