It's a mistake. If you look closely at the panel with Sasuke, Lord Madara, and Tobirama you can see the sword is positioned through the left side of his of his back just like where he got stabbed in this scan.

Yes, it must be a mistake. Because that's a logical when someone makes a valid point. The point is He would not have survived to move or even blink. It's an instant death. INSTANT in most cases. In the next few panels Sasuke is still alive. ._. Kishi has proven in many scans he goes off basic medical facts. So unless you can come at me with some actual medical logic that 100% proves he did...you can survive a heart wound by keeping the object in but since he pulled It out, there is no way in helll he would have been alive when he hit the ground. I'm just saying logically him being stabbed in the heart makes no sense to me. Nicked and glazed in an artery in the heart sure, but not completely though.

Well you have to remember this is a manga on beings that are able to breath fire, break rocks with mere punches, etc.
There's bound to be plenty of plotholes relating to matters like these. (In this matter for the sake of suspense for the readers)
Also depends how many chambers of the heart are compromised as well?
Also you do not die Instantly it may take seconds to minutes which in this case looks liked a couple mintues before he could've died before Kabuto showed up.
