not gonna happen when they have slugs on their side buddy... the slugs can provide acid blasts to mei and also quickly piece the opponent back to death even when beheaded. Femme is right
Like the opponent will let the summons help sakura and tsunade and will even give them time to even summon them.
And acid will work on only opponents are super slow or don't have defense.
Hinata blocks out acid by her rotations.
Temari just repels the acid back at foodera or tsunade by using her wind jutsus lol. Good luck with getting burned by your own summon.
So from where was it written that for casting a genjutsu you always need to be in close contact???
Kurenai wasn't known for a renowned a genjutsu specialist for nothing.
you do know if say sakura is cracking up the ground and throwing chunks of it on top of making a erthquacks(if she would even do that) there is a HUGE chance the ground around here will break to >_<

Blow up mei? in what universe is konan getting through the corrosive mist this is an excellent defence this was strong enough to partially melt susano.. melting some paper is no problem

While this may be true in Tsunade/Sakura's case don't forget that every jutsu has a weakness. Konan's is water/oil. Mei specializes in Water jutsu. and her paper isn't going to protect her from Lava style. Seriously. I think Mei wins out over Konan. The only reason I put Konan over Mei is because she is better at strategizing which could win her the battle.
In the case of Tsunade and Sakura, Medical jutsu isn't just about healing.....it's also about poisons. There is nothing shown that says neither can't just poison Konan with a well placed paper bomb amongst her Origami arsenal.

Tsunade is the only one who can **** with Mei and that's because of her experience.
Sakura is a teenager and unlike Naruto and Sasuke, she hasn't encountered half of the justus they've had to go up against.

Tsunade's nickname is the Queen of Slugs and Elixers. In order to counter a poison as Sakura did for kakuro. You have to know how they work and what they are comprised of. They can make poisons dude.
Seriously what drug are you and femme on?
Tsunade when was cut in half couldn't even move an inch, turned to her real 60+ age look, needed oro and co's help to join her two separate parts.
And sakura hasn't even shown a single ability to heal herself like tsunade does.
And for your kind info summons don't last for long time on the battlefield just for set period of time.
And you got to bite your hands and slam on the ground to summon do you think mei/konan/hinata are dumb enuf and slow enuf to even help them summon slugs???
And for the main point Do you really thing getting the heart ripped out or the head just cut off will make the slugs regenerate it from scratch???

Ok, lets assume that the op is not a fanatic fanboy and normal logic does apply for a sec, then we can say at least the following:
Both Sakura and Tsunade have no answer for Konans jutsu that she used against Tobi involving 5 minutes of continuous explosions. In fact, there is only one ability that can effectively counter this jutsu, beeing the sharingan wich again, no known konoichi posesses. (Arguably some other stuff may or may not work, like ftg and a bunch of other stuff)
Healing is all fine and dandy, but if your head gets blown off its over.
Another thing to consider is, that Juuken could potentially nihilate the chakra flow in ones body, by hiting the tenketsu. Hyuuga clan is known for both speed and accuracy - wich both sakura and tsunade lack. Potentially a female Hyuuga clan member could thus beat Sakura and Tsunade - if said member was able to dodge every blow.
I'm not gonna rate any Konoichi over another here, the point I'm trying to make is: different konoichi have different things they are good at. In oh-ko potential I'd go for Konan, for a versitile mid-long range fighter I'd go for Mei, for a support/medic ninja I'd go for Tsunade or Sakura (in the manga they are pretty damn equal right now, the only argument I could accept right now is, that Tsunade still has more experience, wich would put her slightly ahead), for scouting and assasination I'd go for a female hyuuga (there are more female hyuuga than just hinata, even though we dont know their names, hinata is just derpy) and for intel-gathering ino would be my choice.
Dont make life simpler as it is. You cannot compare apples with oranges.

omg i cant believe you just typed this out your acting like sakura and tsuande cant move around and use summoning jutsu (like everyone else????) your acting like they have to remain like a sitting duck to use summons which is BS. ya good luck on getting temari to effectively dodge acid attack from a horde of slugs while at the same time trying to avoid sakuras massive attacks. Lol
please show me in the manga where kurenai can use jutsu from far away. get real lol your not even serious

Naruto Part I When she fought against Kisame and Itachi. She caught Kisame in a genjutsu from mid range. Itachi had to save his bacon.....

If you can see the SCAN properly kurenai wasn't to near to any of them she was in mid range distance but still managed to put KISAME + ITACHI in a genjutsu.
