First off lightning can cut through wood.
Second kakashi is already good with the three tomoe (tracking movements),
third kakashi can warp himself in and out dimensions,
4th we forget the massive area he is able to warp at a given time. He was able to rip off an entire arm or even a head of the demonic statue path. That alone is a massive area to dodge.
5th his reaction time with kumui. Kakashi has shown great reaction time and great kumui snipe speed that Obito has even missed with the rinnegan and sharingan. (Remember when he warped Naruto faster than the stake Obito tried to use)

Alot of people feel like sense a god can keep up with kumui that has now made it less OP...not really. Now lets think for a minute I think I've lost track of how many times he has been able to use Raikiri and kumui so far. Moreover, Obito's kumui was able to keep up with Minato's ftg speeds somewhat in their fight (which he lost) and Hashirama is not ftg speed. Sure you can sense attacks but sensing them and countering them are to different things. So if at the start of the battle they stare at each other and each use attack odds are Kumui hits first. Even if he uses wood clones kakashi can kumui a massive area and warp those along with hashirama. If you tell me he starts the fight with a wood clone whose to say kakashi doesnt start with one either (lightning clone) cuz infact he is kinda known for that. The fact is its been drilled in our brains of the legend status of these kages that no one will except that someone can defeat them.

Most people who choose hasirama merely says Kakashi can't beat him, this is a joke, no way, and other irrelavant one liners but they do not tell me how he can counter kumui which can cover a massive area and move at high speeds second only to Juubi Jinchuriki's and maybe Ftg idk on that cuz kakashi's is faster than obito's. Just face it. If you really think about it Kakashi can kumui snipe a tailed beast head. (this is where people say Kakashi can't kill a tailed beast cuz its a tailed beast) Well he can kumui demonic statue head in one shot, obito brought it back/ and an arm..but not a tailed beast....yea kakashi wins this one.
