This is merely the place I reside, I'm not currently leaving because there are certain beings at work that I don't trust in my home or trust to leave it, so my sons are carrying out the duty. And the majority of souls are picked up by the system, travelling through the well of souls towards their destined location. I am only required to attend certain events, usually a few a day.

*laughs lightly* how so? ^^ the biggest different that I know of is that I was born...the others were merely put in place by Azrael to replace the previous. Thanks to my human mother I lived a relatively normal human life until the time I was chosen to replace my father in the family business and...my human life ended, so to speak. oh and of course, the changes in the beliefs of the dominant race makes a difference too, as I said, I myself have already had many forms, my predecessors did as well.

...I was human, I haven't quite let go of that yet... and due to the system I can't interfere. If I killed you I would be disrupting the chain of events that should have lead to your death, which could cause a drastic chain of events...although previous Deaths...myself including, have been known to make exceptions...although we then get the consequences from Azrael...

*when you grabbed part of the ribbon and threw it, you realized that the ribbon was sliced in half*

Gin : *after freeing himself from the ribbon with insane speed gin blade becomes a long lighting beam blade shape that perching you directly*,....

Pain grabs the light blade (assuming that the blade is somewhat solid so it can stab him) and pulls it farther into him pulling gin up with the blade. "..." pain the punches gin with half of his force knocking him back into the ground, the blade still stuck in pain.

I see no reason why Death would fear anything, possibly the arrival of the next Death but other then that we're not supposed to show emotion anyway...what makes you think your organization is so terrifying?
