nothing suggests those attack would even dent susanoo.

it took a tsunade and raikage combo to damage a ribcage. V4 susanoo tanks with relative ease

Tsunade's punch did so itself, the combo was another condition.

Considering the restrain in the eye to keep susnaoo activated and the pressure/force each blow contains with gates open, it's possible it'll force Itachi to deactivate it. Similar to Garra, Lee was pounding on each side, which eventually began to break off his sand shield. The shield couldn't withstand the blows and was using too much chakra.

I just said totsuka should be able to slash it in half so susano'o shouldn't even get hit.

Anyway, no. Itachi has yata. Hirudora is just pressurized air forced in 1 direction. Yata already canonically reflected flame, it's going to blocked a large gust of pressurized air.

I'm talking about Gai's physically punching it from various sides, as Lee did Garra. Totsuka doesn't cover the entire susnaoo

Depends on the level of Susanoo that's used.

Yes, I know that Naruto held the sword, but take a look at the state Gai is in. Yet Hirudora managed to do something to Madara as the tree did loosen up. And the next time Madara is shown, it's without Susanoo, with rock behind him, along with dust.

Itachi wins. Kakashi, Gaara, and Minato could all follow his movements. Which means he couldn't elude their line of sight. If he cannot get out of someone's line of sight, then he isn't dodging Amaterasu.

Not necessarily, Garra said such godly movements, this doesn't mean he was following his movements but should imply the opposite. In it being godly, it exceeds human movements, which exceeds the humans eyesight. The rest committed on what he performed not his movements exactly.

Nowhere was it said that Kakashi, Gaara and Minato could follow Guy's movements.
Minato commented on how Guy can open the gates. This observation didn't require him to follow Guy's speed.
Gaara commented on how his movements are not even human. If anything, this proves that he couldn't follow it at all.
As for Kakashi, he didn't even say a word, so that's fanfiction on your part.

OT: Amaterasu is the most problematic thing about Itachi, but it looks like Guy's speed outmatches A's, so he should be able to dodge it.
And even if not, Guy won't let Itachi do the chakra build-up required for Amaterasu, he'll cut the distance and next thing Itachi knows is he's been punched with a fist so fast that it was caught on fire.

On the other hand, if Itachi goes for Amaterasu before Guy opens at least 7th gate, I don't see how he could avoid it. Opening the gates is really slow by the standards of OP techniques speed (Kamui, Amaterasu, FTG), so unless he starts gated or hidden, I'll still give it to Itachi.

He commented because he could notice his movements. Without noticing how he moved, how can he make that assertion? Gai has opened 7th gate before. What was so special about this time?

No they do not imply the opposite.

@Takos

All of them were observing Gai. None of them mentioned that "by god, I cannot even see the guy''. You stating that they couldn't see him, when Gaara noticed his high-speed movements and commented proves the contrary. In fact, if anything, it's pure fanfiction on your part to even suggest that they couldn't see him.

7 Gated Gai is not even close to V2 Ae, whose speed Sasuke could barely see with MS - he coated his Susano'o just in time before Ae struck him. Gai - for now - seems to be on-par on a bit faster than V1 Ae.

They didn't say they could see his movement, either.
Gaara commented on how his movement were god-like because he knew Guy is moving - you know, when people fight, especially at such speed, there's noise, there's ground rumbling and being thrown away, stuff like this. Gaara knew that Guy moves. If he knew that and couldn't see his movement, that's enough for him to say his movement is unhuman.

That's illogical. One can comment on someone moving as godly speeds without being able to keep up with their movements, which is why he said GODLY. Also, being able to see movements, doesn't mean you're able to keep up with his movements. Minato never seen Gai use gates, what are you talking about?

Your points are invalid here man.

They don't need to outright state "I can't see him" use common sense here man.

What does godly speed mean to you sir?

How long can Gai hold up his gates? 30 seconds? What will he do against yata?
Does he have feats of braking anything like susanoo?
Doesnt look like he's to hard to read with sharingan either.

You know, if he goes 7-gates or further, Itachi's susanoo won't be able to rotate in time for Yata to protect it if Guy decides to strike from behind. And where did you get these 30 seconds from? And where did you get this "easy to read with sharingan" thing?

Gai had 7th gate longer than that against Kisame,

The force behind each blow would arguably break susnaoo or force Itachi to deactivate

Sharingan? What makes you say that? madaraa? That's sage mode sensing and enhancements. Can't say for certain the sharingan alone has that ability here

I don't think it is. Data book states that Sasuke's Foot-Speed is godly as well. I suppose we should all agree then that he matches Jin-Madara and completely outruns Amaterasu. This is a hyerbolic statement. Why do all you people take everything literally? It means Gai's too fast. No one is denying it, but him out-speeding Amaterasu's Spawn point at V2 Ae's level? I would need proof for this, NOT interpretations, which is all you're offering.

Able to see movements means, he isn't eluding anyone's line-of-sight, which means, he isn't eluding Amaterasu or Genjutsu. What does it have anything to do with Minato?

Common sense or your own interpretation? Give me a break. You have nothing to back this up that Gai's escapes an MS's users line-of-sight. Can I see proof that no one could see him?

@Takos

So back to how you usually play things: "Absence of Evidence is not the Evidence of Absence"? Gaara couldn't see his movement where? I would need a statement from Gaara, anyone. Until then, you have no proof on this.

A what proof do you have that? As i already mentioned Gai hasnt displayed anything above sharingan precog abilities.

30 sec are from general observation, he doesnt last much with it, he throws one or two moves at best U_U.

Let me see, did obito already reacted to gai in gates? What proof he's too fast for sharingan? Speculation?

LMFAO

Now Gai breaks Susano'o, which is far less durable than Kisame obviously who took Afternoon Tiger to the face and was completely intact.

So, scaring Rikudo Madara more than 5 kage together were able to against Edo Madara implies that "mere" Itachi (pardon me for saying that, but you need to admit he's close to nothing next to Madara) can react to Guy's movements without problems?

EVEN if we assume Sharingan manages to keep up with such immense speed, it doesn't mean Itachi is capable of reacting to it on time. Susanoo is not Kamui's intangibility - it is not automatic. Itachi needs to notice Guy behind his back and then rotate his Susanoo, which is also related with movement - a category in which neither Itachi nor his Susanoo can compete with gated Guy.

LMFAO

You're mistaken.
1. Kisame didn't take it "to the face", as Hirudora had to ram through the Sharkbomb, which, let's be honest, was Kisame's most powerful technique. Do you really think that Hirudora slipped through it and was not slowed down at all?
2. I don't know your definition of "in tact", but IMO collapsing powerless is not what I'd include in it.

Yata no Kagami automatically molds itself to block attacks from any direction. The databook's description of the Shield backs this up as well. Although its durability hype is misinterpreted by nearly everyone.
