It's obvious Sasuke was inspired by Hiei: Same role in their respective mangas, same personality, same fighting style, same abilities(more or less), plus so many others(caugh caugh *Amatersu* caugh *Enton*) hell even both are orphans.
Even though Sasuke is a more recent version of Hiei, he's still not a better character than him.

really? Are you sure you're not confusing them? The elder one was the smaller shape shifter/regenerator while the younger was the bigger muscle % counting one(He was epic)

I can agree with that. That's part of why I wanted to like Sasuke, because Hei was such a bad ass. Sasuke even has a fireball dragon attack, like Hei.

I just love those ridiculously creepy, feminine characters. My favorite here is Orochimaru after all Lol They're just the most fun to watch to me.
