Batman has killed Superman before.
Superman is a poorly thought out and OP character that can't carry a good story because there is no suspense. You know he's practically invincible and everyone would rather root for an underdog.

technically everyone fears and respects batman more than they fear and respect superman even very powerful beings respect batman more than superman...


also suoerman's story is a hero's tale, what i mean is the whole being a hero story all comes from him, when we think of super heroes the first name or image that comes to mind is superman, he is the embodiment of that...

Tower of babel arc, Batman essentially solo'd the justice league by mistake, simply by having plans to stop all of them, which worked perfectly even when it was someone else using them. So logic says if he used them same result, so yeah he wins.

thats what i said but i do believe that Vandal Savage and his group use of the plans were executed the best way they could have been done because those characters matched the JL to be able to do the plans, batman on his own couldnt pull it off, also the flash escaped his doom and i think he is the only one who can avoid being beaten by batman's plan because batman himself said " no one could anticipate u flash "...

Ya he was one of the firsts and he's rightfully withstood the test of time. I still just can't get interested in a Superman comic because there's maybe like 5 villains in all the DCU that could possibly stand up to him. Even then I know he's probably just gonna beat them to death.
Power him down a bit and he would make a great character. As he stands now though it's impossible for me at least to really respect him as a character beyond his historical significance.

i didnt think i needed to list those who can beat normal superman

since superman is the embodiment of heroism he has to be as powerful as the villains he face because if he isnt there the world is doomed, as powerful as martian manhunter is or flash(wally west) or wonder woman or doctor fate is they cannot stand up to the lowest of powerful beings that look to destroy earth such as darkseid and doomsday so superman is needed, he does a lot more than batman ever has but as far as batman goes, he is a regular man thats fights super beings and the average person can relate to a regular man os i see what u mean but there has been many times were batman has been way out of his league but still survives and keeps up which is absurb since he is a mortal so even he has been helped in comics a lot not just superman...

Pre Crisis Superman is probably faster (flew so fast he left the multiverse) but SPOM powers technically count as magic don't they because of his blood? That gives him a really ****ed up advantage.

It's canon it's happened in the comics, multiple times. Tower of Babel showed another way Batman could beat Superman.
