since Gaara vs Rock Lee @ the Chunin Exams, we've ALL been waiting to see what this 8th Gate of Death is capable of.

To not show the techique until this point of the story shows that whatever the 8th Gate of Death is capable of, is of the same Rank that Current Madara is right now.

Kishi didnt even show it when everyone was trying to beat Obito. But I do remember that Gai was about to use it to beat the 6 Paths of Obito (6 jinjuriki in Bijuu Mode)
