He had already beaten Hashi by that time. But yes, he's above Minato or/and Hiruzen. But Hashirama alone could give edo Madara trouble, adding a Perfect Jinchuriki, the second strongest Senju, and A powerful Kage along with Hashirama makes it uneven.

Now Jinchuriki Madara could beat them pretty well.

yeah right,hashirama was eliminated by pure plot that decided to stick a so convenient rod on his back so that madara can control him when he was on his weakest.(after he already pinned him down with a wood dragon) .
PS was a match up for the wood golem,but it would have been olibrated by 1K hands easily since it doesn't have the same fire power that kurama had which was the main reason madara was able to destroy 1K hands in the VOTE,but oh well,the almighty plot required madara alive.
