With Minato's new power ups I've been seeing people say he beats Hashirama. So this brings up the question who is the strongest kage? Are people like Tobirama and Hizuren even contenders anymore? In my opinion the strongest kage is still Hashirama, but some beg to differ.

You've got it other way around.

We've seen Hashirama's full potential and most powerful jutsu. We haven't even seen Minatos element(s) yet or what he can do in sage mode.

I think that Minato was the Kage with the most potential, but he failed to reach that potential because he died.

So no, he isn't the strongest Kage. That would be Hashirama

Minato is the second strongest Kage, in my opinion. Excluding Hype Prime Hiruzen.

I don't consider kuramas chakra for minato since he never had it alive. Minato has sage mode, combined with ftg makes him very strong. I'd still put hashirama at 1 and minato at two.

Minato has a chance against hashirama. I know hashirama has much larger attacks, but minato is more of a tactical shinobi and not a powerhouse.

We all know that once minato gets a tag on you, you're finished (juubi jins excluded). the question is, with minatos abilities, can he get a tag on hashirama?

Minato is smarter than hashirama, and more "skilled". I think he would be able to defeat hashirama. not that he's stronger or would win more battles, but minato could take him high diff sometimes
