Kishimoto directs his hate to Sasuke

But kishi has constantly hyped up the uchiha, and constantly shows that konoha (and most nations) praise their prodigies. Kishi isn't intentionally 'hammering' down sasuke he is just demonstrating themes of his manga through him.

Itachi once told Naruto that when you obtain power you become arrogant and shun other peoples help, just like Madara did. He then went on to say people that do this are doomed to fail. Sasuke did just that and in fact Kishi has been building Sasuke as madara's foil for awhile now. Sasuke gained power in his eyes, but it came at a cost. He basically threw strategy out the window and started spamming sharingan techniques to no end. His over reliance and arrogance is what has got him into his current predicament - not kishi intentionally picking on Sasuke because he was gifted.



Still can't believe Kishi managed to literally kill Neji, a branch family member, with a branch. Thats some serious irony there....

Very true, I agree that Kishi is trying to demonstrate concepts through the story, but I do not understand the concepts or maybe it is a bit too obvious and shallow for me to accept it. It was just how people explained when Sasuke first obtained MS that he would just spam his techniques, but I don't see why having such techniques should result in early termination. Obviously his character has not developed enough to understand his limits and own shortcomings, and that the powers granted alone will not win the battle. But that's exactly like I said: Kishi turned Sasuke into that stereotype and he obviously doesn't like it so he let him get One-Paneled but he had to get to that point anyway as was depicted in an OVA along time ago.

But thats exactly the problem. Sasuke didn't even want Hashirama's assistance at first, but Hashi insisted that he teach Sasuke a jutsu and give him some chakra. He even said at one point that "it isn't his problem but the least he will do is get rid of madara for him". Again this all displays that Sasuke is arrogant and self conceited, thinking that his power will let him takeout Madara. He shunned assistance an tried to go it alone. Kishi didn't change his mind, the fact that Sasuke got fodderized is actually completely in line with the character Kishi is building up. He didn't kill of Sasuke on a whim or because he got sick of the direction he was taking him. Although you could argue that this is a lot of build up to make someone a failure, but hey its Kishi's story.

You are correct. My point is that this has little to do with Sasuke and more to do with Kishimoto and how he's been building up the character. I feel we could have learned about Sasuke's intentions and inner voice more but we are never given that opportunity outside of flashbacks. We never get the chance to see him reflect on life, thus we are led to believe that Sasuke isn't the type to reflect on things so he must AUTOMATICALLY be some arrogant person who relies on his own power over the wisdom of others and experience. According to what you said: we are led to think that Sasuke only decided to revive the Hokage's to learn the truth for his own benefit and not because he really cares about the Leaf Village.

It seems like when Sasuke asks a question; the reader confuses it with him being cold or not accepting correction when in fact he is very logical; he asked Hashirama why would he do that not because he refused it but because he felt like Hashirama may have been scared that Sasuke would convert to Madara's side, you see?
