He accepts who he really is, :3

Great, I am glad we agree on that. And if you remember correctly, Itachi put him in there because he was constantly going after other people's powers instead of relying on his own. In fact, I would go a step further and bring up Kabuto's flashback. Which took up two chapters explaining who Kabuto really is. It wasn't a coincidence that Kishi showed us this right before Kabuto was put into Izanami. He is an orphan who found a home with "mother" who gave him a memento (the glasses) so that he could one day embody her. Something he was on the path to doing before he accidently killed her, throwing him off his true path.

I guess my next question would be. If he broke out, accepting his true self, why has he appeared before Sasuke with mal intent?

I'm not good with theories but maybe he's at DSM mode and maybe karin doesn't recognize him, i dunno what to say about the bad mal.

There seems to be a crack in Madara's knowledge regarding the fruit (Madara: "I don't know what significance it holds, but according to legend, that fruit must never be touched")

Exactly, the story Madara told gave us so much insight, but mysteriously left out one key piece of information...why no one should touch the fruit. Madara himself seemed to dismiss the idea as merely "I'm not sure why.."

That was huge in my opinion and speaks to the fact that there is something underneath that story. What do you think about Kaguya eating the fruit on a whim?

Nice theory, though the build up was like that of a typical shounen manga, for me somethings were just a little too obvious they became bother-line annoying. As much as i'd like to know the fate of Sasuke, he has been left hanging all this while, so i'd rather not comment on him or the mystery man.

Oh that was your thread. Lol I just remembered it when I saw this one.

Lol yes! Yes it was!

I have really been waiting for this reveal for quite some time...even before the famous foot appeared. I was not the least bit surprised that it came on the brink of Sasuke's death. If this man really is the embodiment of the Uchiha, then Sasuke is his prize.

Hey man I read your thread about the final villain. Very interesting. I've done my own research concerning the Tengu and Japanese mythology and there seems to be a connection to Judaism. I'll let you do the research; maybe you can find out some more and it really seems to support the research you've done. I am a Christian and I like to put these pieces together as well. I am interested in bouncing these ideas off with you in a private message Tebow, what do you think?

& It does actually sound somewhat plausible. Would've denied it if not for karin who sensed malicious intent within the mystery guy, that immediately shut me off the kabuto idea. Your older theory became possible after that as well.

Truth be told I'm just estimating the reemergence of the fruit based on Fukasaku's age, he is 800 years old and even he thought the Sage was just a myth, so it stands to reason that 200 years prior to his birth, the Fruit emerged and Kaguya ate it, if the current timeline is Fuksaku's Age + 200 years then a thousand years has already passed.

Truth be told, there is no reason not to agree with this timeline. It really makes perfect sense when you think about it... I just wonder what will really bloom when the time is right. Perhaps this mystery man, who's timing is impeccable, plans on getting Sasuke to eat the fruit just like he did Kaguya (if that is indeed what happened).

Great work on this man.

Given the circumstances I've never thought it was Kabuto, things never lined up, there is only one explanation if it is someone we already know, But if its a "new" face it could only be one of the ones already discussed thus far in your thread.

I really do hope this is wrong personally, mainly due to losing what we just seen Sauske "gain".

That in itself would be an amazing idea. Wait, what if the Sojobo was the fruit, the Jubi was the tree, and Jashin was created right before the sage? Maybe Jashin can be the "intelligence and personality" of the Jubi.

Nah, yours is better.

Umm our ideas really aren't that different. However, I would disagree that this person (Sojobo, Jashin, Fruit whatever you want to call him) is the "brain" of the Juubi. Think about what the Juubi was doing as the God Tree. It was seemingly "protecting" (and I don't use that word confidently) people from the fruit. I say protecting because look at what has happened since Kaguya gained chakra. Whoever got Kaguya to eat the fruit (and I have no doubt she was convinced to eat it) would have opposite ideals to the Juubi. They wanted people to have chakra because of the influences he, she, or it would gain. Opposite ideals to the Juubi, who didn't want people to use chakra...and still doesn't.

I find the conveniences mounting up suspicious as well but I have my doubts about there being four factions (i.e. Naruto vs Sasuke and an ultimate "good" vs an ultimate "bad") to this equation. As many have pointed out, how is Naruto's way of peace any different than Infinite Tsukuyomi? How could Naruto force understanding upon everyone and how would that achieve peace? The idea of having everyone truly understand one another is a naive concept that the So6p had already attempted but this didn't stop folks from trying to manipulate chakra and breaking those bonds anyway.

When the Mind represented by Sasuke, Body represented by Naruto and Spirit represented by that which is hidden, are able to be reconciled, then a person might find the peace. This analogy corresponds with sanmitsu or the three mysteries and you will find it represented in other Buddhist references as well.

To your first point. I am not sure where people get this idea that Karin can't recognize people in Sage Mode. It seems to have gained an obscene amount of support with virtually no base. In fact, Karin, through her recognition of Jugo, at the hideout he was first introduced would lead me to believe that the opposite is true. But, even if for some reason she can't (and I still don't see why people think this) the fact the no one can explain the mal intent presented by the mysterious person is proof enough that it can't be Kabuto. He couldn't have broken out of Izanami (given the requirements) and be there in front of Sasuke to either take his eyes (since he would now realize he has to rely on his own power) or kill him.

Well I would say first off, the Tengu connection to the Uchiha is undeniable. Whether Kishi merely drew inspiration from these mythical creatures or if he actually plans on using their likeness in the story I guess is still to be determined. Although the statue's similarity to Susanoo is too strange..

To your point about the connection to Judaism. Other than the Old Testament, I don't exactly see the correlation. Could you expand on this?

I haven't read the comments yet so I don't know if this has been asked so if it has my bad.

What if the ultimate evil is the SO6P's mom? Madara said she went back to her old ways and she also had the juubi chakra, so she could give sasuke a power up.

Wait, if Sojobo would indeed be a part of this manga, would Jashin fit his discription.

The way, Hidan viewed Jashin was like he was the God of Destruction.

Even sacrificing people through Jashin's ritual granted him immortality.

I am not quite sure what you mean by "four factions." The way you have described it "good vs evil" seems like there is two and Naruto and Sasuke would simply fall into these categories.

Another point I want to address...you mention the spirit and say that Sasuke embodies the mind, Naruto the body and the spirit has yet to be revealed (if it is indeed a person). But, I would argue this point. I am familiar with the concepts (mind, body, spirit) but am certainly no expert. And I agree that Sasuke is the mind, Naruto the body, but I disagree on the spirit being "that which is hidden." I think the argument can be made that the spirit is simply what binds people together and no one person embodies it. In fact, in 665 Madara mentions the Sage trying to connect everyone's spirit so that they could better understand each other. Is that not how the "spirit" is being represented in the story? As simply a binding agent (for lack of a better term) and not some mysterious third person (although I am curious to hear who/what you have in mind).

I would starkly disagree with this point. Naruto has already achieved what the Sage could not.

You must be registered for see images

There are other pages that support the point I am going to make, but I figured this is most appropriate. Naruto isn't asking anyone to do anything, certainly not forcing them to either. All he is doing, is showing that he considers everyone to be a comrade whom he is willing to put his life on the line for, whether they reciprocate the feeling or not is up to them.

This is vastly different from what the Sage was said to have done. Naruto, as he stated himself, doesn't want the easy path, but wants to be able to lead other's down a hard one. All the Sage did, was give the people the means to understand each other and hope they would take the opportunity...to which they refused. From what we know, the Sage wasn't doing anything similar to what Naruto is doing now, he wasn't leading the way Naruto is; like Obito, he took the easy path (he may not have known it at the time) and assumed people would take it as well. Naruto has proven, with his actions, that there is another way, and the shinobi around him are responding to it.

The Sage's wording to the Bijuu support my argument as well. "Unlike when you were within me, you will be lead down the right path.." Is it merely coincidental that during Obito and Naruto's conversation they spoke of which path to take? No one has elected to face the perils of the more difficult path....until now. That is what separates Naruto from his comrades and ancestors and is ultimately what will bind people together. Unlike before, they will all be voluntarily heading down the same path together.

Your theory is interesting but I really doubt Sasuke will meat the source of evil because he finally showed the resolve to fight for good and his brother's memory . Why would he change his mind yet again when he met with Itachi and knows what his brother wants and that's not him going evil.
