I cant tell how long ive been waiting to see Might guy whooping some major asses in the series and finally its his time to shine.
now we all know he might not end up killing madara but he will definitely beat the crap out of madara before dying .

what actually makes sense is guy taking madara to a certain limit and as the time passes guy becomes weaker due the heavy use of 8th gate power then madara finishes him of or Guy end up sacrificing himself to save his friends

lol 7th gate Makes Gai a strong Kage level shinobi (stated) but, sorry good sir the 8th gate shouldn't give Rikuduo Madara trouble.

fighting the ten tails Jin (Madara who's stronger than Juubito in this case) in a straight fight is suicide, no one can overpower him in a fist fight U_U (you can only use tricks/jutsu against him).

I can see 8 Gate Gai blitzing him enough to ping-ball him around leaving Madara at his mercy for a short period of time. He uses some new attack that's on a massive scale and it hits him directly, at point blank range..

It doesn't do much but Madara ends up commenting that he would most likely "not been okay" if he wasn't in the form he was now.

Gai buys enough for Naruto to return, the readers to catch up on Sasuke and Lee, Ten ten to arrive as Gai reaches his final moments.

If you think about it, kishi is basically leaving Team guy racking up the biggest casualties in K11.

Or it could go with TenTen and Lee already being there and releasing the people trapped in that gourd.

It might. But it would only last for a few minutes, then he would be dead.

In my opinion, it would be used just to buy time. Not defeat madara(i dont think it has that kind of power)
