OT: I think you misinterpret, Gai (as far as I know) only forgot Kisame, and I think Kishi want's to make it gai's ''habit'' to forget enemies/people.

THe Mystery Guy may have very well appeared on the field before them but we just didn't see any panel hinting that he was there. This could also mean that whoever the mystery man is has probably addressed Sasuke's injuries.

SO it's a possiblity that SMD is correct here guys, because in situations like this, Kishi can be very unpredictable. Though I think the banter was just between Madara and Gai, I tend to keep an open mind on these types of scenarios.

Guess we will just find out next week.

she didnt claim full belief of what she said, she showed a lack of confidence by going from it is to i might be wrong, and it is not likely the mystery person was is at the same location kakashi and gai are at because in the previous chapters, just as madara flew off he dropped the sage's tools and gai was with ten ten and lee, and madara flew right over them it wouldnt makes sense for the mystery man to go way back to where madara was we he impaled sasuke instead of just watching where he is landing and go to that location, that just doesnt make sense, now i dnt knw if u agree with SMD or u are just trying to defend

there is nobody behind madara and if the mystery person had made it to madara's location it would make no sense for that person to travel around gai/lee/ten ten who were on the direct path madara took to get to kakashi and minato and gaara, if this was true that would mean the mystery person made a full circle to get there going from where sasuke was to all the way around gai/lee/ten ten when they faster way would be to follow the same path madara took...
