Hmmm perhaps. I quite liked Sasuke and Itachi vs Kabuto though. Considering that Sasuke is my favorite and Itachi and Kabuto are in my top 6 fave list as well.

I remember how hated those chapters were when they came out. After it was all said and done it went down as a really good fight to most people.

I preferred Sasuke vs Itachi because of it's strategy, and showing Sasuke's skill with the 3 tomoe.

People will still say to this day that Itachi let Sasuke break out of Tsukiyomi though. =/

The Kabuto fight had quite a few strategies as well though.

And that's the assumption of Sasuke haters. We've seen him break it in the manga and databook stated that Sasuke broke out of it so Sasuke breaking out of it is leaning to it being true.

You know, I always thought Kabuto was going to rewrite Itachi's seal and force him to fight Sasuke. (._.) Or something like that.

Meh, lot's of things happen for the sake of plot. We didn't know Itachi had Izanami either. =/

Another popular theory was Kabuto summoning Madara to his location. Would've been cool to see Itachi meet Madara.
