I have quite a simple question about debating in naruto and how you go about it. Now I was debating with a friend of mine who should have known better than to start this debate which was idiotic, now I don't want to mention what we were debating about but I know the said person in real life.

Simply put the person had zero debating skills, invalid points and wrong information however this person was too ignorant and stupid to understand the point that the characters were in different tiers and that my character outmatched his or should I say theirs as he brought in a friend as back up to talk. After all my points and countering theirs they still would not listen/ understand.

Now I'm wondering what do you debaters on nb do with stupid people who don't know anything and question you especially when its a character you know extensively about? Is it okay to just say hey your too retarded to understand its not my fault? Laugh at them or what as these guys are my friends but they insulted my intelligence with their stupidity. I'm giving an example of how outclassed the characters are. Its basically like itachi vs yamato type deal, now I was going to say asuma but he is far too bad an example. Anyway ideas anyone? P.s I was debating for the itachi level character not the weak character.

I'm not a debater .......but you know when you're encountering an ignorant fool , you could spend hours talking & not get anywhere ...most of the time I just ignore them & stop taking them seriously , not that debating/talking about Naruto is important but still .......if you have a stubborn person against you , it takes the fun out of it ...for example : people such as Femma , KingHashimara , Royal etc .....this are people who should just be ignore .

Not quite. Its most logical and efficient way to get something in one's head and deal with stupidity.
People absorb all the information told along with pain. Pain and bad things in general are longer remembered and rarely forgotten hence all the knowledge will be there by association.

Well well Mr scientist, I guess I'll explain that to them and see then if they would like to understand what I'm talking about haha just joking though nice explanation. I don't suppose you have seen a show called firinge, it might just be right up your alley

Who's the fool, you or your friend? Someone being of a different tier does not automatically give the victory. It's all about match-ups, so it really depends on which characters are being discussed. Your friend could have been right in this situation.

Hmm well if we were to judge "VS" scenarios from the Manga solely and just the Naruto-verse. Then half of the debates in the Versus column are pure garbage.


So it depends on if you were solely basing your debate on manga. Or just the character abilities..

I understand that blazkev and that's why I gave the example of itachi vs yamato itachi holds the advantage in every way but your right being a different tier does not give auto win unless they are tiers apart and trust me he was wrong but he is just a fan boy unlike myself.
