It seems obito kept attention to the happening inside of him and has successfully used his knowledge and experience of being a sage in combat.
Seshoton is the combination of all five elements.
Obito has mastered this form evident of the forming of his own staff materialized through his new found will.
Which makes sense as he is now bearer of the vast spiritual energy thanks to kurama.
Now obito has senju dna and half of kurama
Giving him the much needed psychical and spirtual energy to fight against madara who also posses immense psychical and spiritual energy.
Obito also has kamui too,so even though he doesn't have madara's speed its made irrelevant.
So here we have it
obito now has great psychical and spirtual energy(The means to combat on par with madara)Kamui(The means to dodge and evade madara and prevent his death by seshoton)and also has seshoton himself the only clear cut attack that could readily harm madara.
Am i saying obito is as powerful as madara ?
Hell no,but the powers he does have makes the need for an exact match up unnecessary.
In summary,no madara did not get his powers taken and no he is not in any real danger of losing,but,obito will take more effort then taking down naruto and sasuke
