Rock Lee and sage tools?

What would happen if Lee tried to use the sage tools. I know he cannot mold chakra but if he tried would the sage item just zap chakra out of his body or would it not work at all?

If it did work would it kill him? How decent do you think his chakra pool is?

Thought about it because if team gai uses those items i thought lee might get to.

He can mould chakra, he just can't use chakra externally i.e. in a form of a jutsu. If he has the necessary reserves, he should be able to handle the Sage's Tools.

Chakra reserves = stamina but I'm not sure if stamina = chakra reserves. Lee should have high stamina due to his constant training but we never see him execute techniques that are chakra taxing, so we don't know if he has high chakra reserves. I reckon he should though, if Tenten can pull it off then Lee definitely can.

I never really associated the 8 Gates to be anything chakra related at all. And I still don't see Lee having a lot because he's never trained it or utilised it in any way. Unless that's Kishi's surprise idea of a Lee powerup (Which would be f*cking awful)

Oh, I thought it took chakra to open them. If that does happen it would probably be hinged to him and the whole cloak thing probably XD

Ah wait I was wrong, they are chakra related. Guess that's just an assumption I made back in the 2007 early days :')

Still, the fact Lee has only been able to get as far as the 5th Gate seems to imply chakra issues. I'm sure it'll grow with time til he gets Guy level.
