When he said he wants to become hokage was a little bit annoying however he rarley got any screen time ..

- naming a character like Hiruzen "god of the shinobi world" then giving him little screen time/feats (bringing powerful characters back means that you should use them in the big fight).

- giving TWO characters the same ultimate power TWICE in the same fight (painfully repetitive powers all over the place).

- overpowering Madara (to a crazy extent) which will lead to making his defeat look ridiculous/disappointing.

- Sasuke saying i want to be Hokage after all what happened (WTH).

- Obito's defeat (had the ultimate power/weapon in NV, yet he lost to a bunch of youngsters), he lost to half a Kyuubi, a little Uchiha with a tiny Susanoo and K11.

the bad guys are always the weak ones (mentaly) I mean he is not the only one in the world who has lost someone precious to him. Kakashi got over rin, so did all of her friends but this obito is (like you said) very childish and weak. Instead of moving on he is blaming others and trying to get her back.
