that's my point, it's obviously been retconned. Sasuke has also been caught in genjutsu, and he wasn't able to counter Bee's Taijutsu or Lee's for that matter. SO much for that empty hype

Also when itachi and sasuke were fighting with kabuto. They can't get out of the sound genjutsu by themselves.

how did sasuke and itachi were both still aware of their environment?Usually a genjutsu put an illusion on the opponent.Itachi told sasuke to look into his eyes inorder for them to break out of it ,which mean sasuke still had control over his own senses to position his head towards itachi
