Obito & kakashi's eyes are connected, this has been established because obito can see through kakashi's eye & vice versa.

Obito's eye which is just stored in kakashi's body awakened the MS because obito witnessed the trauma, if kakashi had been there himself he wouldn't have awakened it because he is not an uchiha.

If kakashi awakened it himself then his ability & design would be different, because it would be his MS, not obito's.

1) Tobirama spoke about awakening regular Sharingan, he said NOTHING about upgrading Sharingan to Mangekyo. The theory that this requires Uchiha blood is speculation, speculation and nothing else but your speculation.
2) On the other hand, Obito himself claimed Kakashi had awakened MS.

I'm going with the manga, you're going with baseless assumptions you have no proof to be true, you only WANT them to be true to downplay Kakashi.
Kakashi awakened MS and Obito awakened MS.
End of story.

We're just pointing out the misconceptions spread around the Base.
Also, don't start this "borrowed power" nonsense again.

Need I remind you that during this war Obito used:
-Mokuton
-Durability granted with Senju DNA (or else he'd die on the spot when Kakashi raikirid him)
-Edo Jinchuuriki (courtesy of Kabuto)
-6 Paths of Pain (courtesy of Rinnegan)
-Gedo Mazo
-Juubi
-Senju stamina for spamming his precious Kamui
All of which are borrowed powers?

Do you think he would have lasted long without them?

Don't get me wrong, Obito is my second favorite character. Still, I don't like when people point out "flaws" of other characters while totally ignoring the exact same flaws in their favorites, which are even more serious, as we can see in this case.

We know that Obito's and Kakashi's eyes are connected. Non Uchiha can't activate the Mangekyo Sharingan, since it is depended by the Uchiha's emotions, which special Chakra which flows through their brain gives access to the MS upon experiencing psychological grief.

Wrong. Everything Tobirama said was in regards to awakening a regular Sharingan from a non-Sharingan eye.
Kakashi awakened Mangekyo from a Sharingan eye, which is a totally different thing.

In other words, what Tobirama said means that if Obito was to give Kakashi his eye before awakening Sharingan, Kakashi would never be able to get it. BUT Kakashi got an already awakened Sharingan, which he could then further develop into Mangekyo.

Coupled with the fact that, as you said, Obito himself admitted Kakashi awakened MS, we have every reason to believe that was the case.

Tobirama only mentioned 'Sharingan''. And using Tobirama as evidence for Kakashi's MS awakening, despite Obito himself said Kakashi awoke it, is a clear denial.
