It makes sense, but the simple fact is that Minato having SM was forced and came out of nowhere. I don't even recall him having time to build up the SM, it literally just happened. Thats the problem I have with it. I don't care if he does or doesn't have it, but its pretty much the same as if the very first panel of the next chapter is Naruto suddenly appearing in front of Madara without any explanation as to how he survived.

The Minato that was sealed in DRS and the Minato the was in Naruto's seal, don't share a consciousness. You should have realized this when Edo-Minato didn't recognize Sakura.

Remember when Naruto went to get his sage training at the front gate, the frog elder pulled out the scroll and it was Naruto's name, Minato, then Jiraiya's.

So he did have a contract and could of trained there to get it. I don't think the frogs know that Naruto is Minato's son, hence why all they talk about is the Pervy Sage when they trained.

you should have realized that this is not the only time "minato" has seen naruto fight/gather nature energy. it is known that he could sense nature energy AND was a sensor type too if he choose to, so he most likely sensed how naruto was doing it.

nah, the speed that minato gathered the sage mode chakra tells us that he could have used it vs kurama had that been the case. oh, and secondly; pa frog mentioned minato and jiraya when naruto fought pain

i agree that kishimoto has way to little imagination and could have done something way better, but at least this is explainable by thinking about it rationally.
